best summer camps for kidsA true sign of whether or not a camp is successful is the satisfaction of the campers themselves and their desire to return. The best summer camps for kids have a high rate of return and will have guides that first encountered the camp as a camper. Our kids camps programs prove to be just that by receiving a large percentage of new campers that return each summer.

For generations, children have been coming to this region on Lake Temagami. Historically, the kids camps were called different names and served different populations, but the wilderness has never changed. The lake’s name comes from the Ojibwa language. The word is pronounced Te-mee-ay-gaming and when translated it means “deep water by the shore”. The beauty of the wilderness combined with leadership of the kid camp’s professional guides, many of which were campers themselves at one time, creates a space where your child will grow beyond their and your expectations.
