Managing your camper’s spending
When you add a store deposit, your camper can freely purchase items at the Tuck Shop. Campers with a $0 deposit won’t be able to spend on their own, but if they forget or lose something important, our staff will authorize a purchase, which will be billed to your household account.
Store deposits can be added to your campers account via CampBrain.
Spending wisely: what to expect
While we can’t track or limit your camper’s spending (including buying chocolate!), we do limit the sale of treats to two pieces per day. The Tuck Shop is open for up to four days during basecamp, with prices ranging from $2 to $200. Sweaters typically cost around $60, and t-shirts about $30. All items are carefully selected by the Camp Owners to ensure quality and suitability for camp life.
