Exploring our Namesake down The Temagami River

I hope this letter finds you well!

I’m Chelsea, and I just wanted to share the highlights of our incredible trip this summer. We had an amazing adventure down the picturesque Temagami River, surrounded by stunning natural beauty and vibrant landscapes.

Our route took us through some of the most breathtaking lakes and the dynamic flows of the Temagami River. The serene waters and lush surroundings made every moment memorable. Along the way, we visited some of the prettiest campsites, each offering a unique charm and perfect spots to unwind and connect with nature. Thanks to higher water levels we were able to get through some rapids that typically require being portaged around, so overall a great success!

One of the most exciting parts of our journey was navigating the whitewater sections of the river. Initially, the campers were quite nervous, but it was incredible to see their transformation. They gained confidence and skill, showcasing remarkable personal growth by the end of the trip. The flow of the river also builds as the trip progressed, meaning we practiced on smaller rapids to start, before getting to bigger flows of moving water!

This trip was not just about the adventure but also about witnessing the campers’ journey, both externally through the wild waters and internally as they grew more confident and capable. It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved, and I truly enjoyed every moment spent with our amazing campers.

I look forward to many more adventures with you all in the coming years. Until next time, happy paddling!

Warmest regards,

Chelsea
